I don't know about this. Why couldn't the drill handle the pressure. This is surely more likely a case of the well not being designed around the higher pressures and this is why they have had to pause the drilling op.
why haven't they provided us with formation data like every other company I have seen who announced a pause in drilling due to misjudging the formation pressures.
