Punters would do themselves a big favour reading and re-reading @dans posts. Theres a lot of thought and insight to appraise yourselves with.

Just like the guy with 80K in his pocket, eyeing off the mustang in the window and eventually walking inside and doing the deal...the buyers for the acreage will be "lurking" and at some point there will be a "trigger" for them to act and match (or exceed) the sellers price.

The Juanita well smells to me like it is going to be a bonanza. The BM guys are not dumbasses - they would have booked a rig with capabilities more than adequate for what they were expecting...Im speculating the overpressure was encountered at or near a reservoir...thats why they pulled the pin and went for bigger gear.
