on another note..... had a liberal party man ring me up saying that the rules had changed around donations to political parties
so he was wondering id f I could donate on a drip feed basis..... my reply....

"why should I donate at all ? your party has wiped out 1/4 million of my retirement funds, I am 67, I like working but I didn't expect for the rest of my life! you blokes had 18 mths to get things right, talking to all and sundry, even those disgraceful greenies and ltgers... you came out with new rules... toughest in the world... then under pressure from a shock jock Ofarrell does a doorstop and crash, bam, boom ! not even his cabinet knew about this surprise.... then you bend over for the bently boys and girls... did you see the types up there?.... and few came from the community, they were all blow ins.... probably funded by third parties and others AND YOU WANT ME TO DONATE TO THE LIBERAL PARTY ....Mike baird seems like a nice bloke , I voted for him and I trust him , but then minister Roberts comes on the scene 5pm before we are to drill in a god forsaken disused quarry and you still kick up a stink... referring us to ICAC ( who found nothing wrong) and claiming lack of community consultation when , even blind freddy knew 6 months ago that the drilling was scheduled for early 2014. NO I DONT WANT TO DONATE TO OR VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO LETS ME DOWN!"

to this persons credit he genuinely sounded CONTRITE and acknowledged that he had had similar complaints and that my COMMMENTS WOULD BE PASSED ON TO THOSE HIGHER UP
