I think they desperately want to keep things afloat as they have a discounted deal on a massive amount of gold. Trouble is they have no cash to fund it and reputation is gone it seems making it hard to raise cash.
They cant offer real gold to anyone i assume as they would have to pay in advance for physical gold? So everything is trying to tokenize or digitize the gold they "apparently" have via Bez but seems they have lost trust of punters now.
They are seemingly offering token ownership of real gold held in a vault somewhere yet it seems the only real gold is still in the ground in bau. At least that gives an incentive to actually start production but they obviously cant fund it themselves without new investors who trust them???
