it’s not that confusing. Companies don’t earn the headline market price. Because of heaps of factors like discounts to the headline price offered to lock in long term contracts, or lower grades of ore or timing differences.
Maybe better to seek to understand and ask questions rather than spray uninformed opinions around the place with a negative tilt. People will generally be helpful and constructive if you seek to learn
