GS has been wrong on Gold so far: yes Gold has not rallied this year, but look GS have risen their forecast on all metals (incl Platinum) but not on Gold. They stick to this absurd 1000 USD target on XAU.. Laughable...
Will see. As many said.. who knows.. (look at Paulson who lost his shirt on GLD last year!) I can just say that most brokers are crowd followers. Linking XAU to improvement of US recovery is not right. Have a look at the avg production cost.. Buy Gold mines: its like buying a out of the money option with NO negative theta..
I am loaded in many junior / exploration / and producers in Australia and Canada.. It will be my retirement.. haha.. I am waiting to laugh at GS and its Commod. "top" analyst!!!
