Attack on the gold market is to continue next week
Deutsche Bank analysts believe it is possible that investors could establish new short positions in the gold market in the coming week. The economic data on both sides of the Atlantic were recently better than expected and the interest on the government bonds of developed countries have increased gradually. However, this was not the reason for the sharp decline in gold prices. Rather sellers would have realized that they would meet in the gold market on relatively little resistance, which means that short sales could be worth again. "We expect that the attack in the coming week goes on."
