Exxaro bailed for a number of reasons, not least of all a resource that is below expectation.

Presumably EQX (a neighbor), shares the same "below expectation" resource.
EQX's options to compensate for "below expectation" resource are limited, since lifting volumes (as Exxaro suggest) is not substitute they can turn to.
