I would also say that after the new pumps were ramped up they probably pumped at 400-500 bwp/d for a while thinking that was the threshold in-flow, then discovered that the work-over did wonders for the productivity.
I am not sure if they have the ability to measure real-time water in-flow but i am sure some time was eaten up determining the required pump rate to be above that threshold level.
Again, you can see why 8+ months have been chewed up here. Not great for everyone concerned but you can see how it happens in this game.
