Exactly, it will take around 6 weeks to get K2 back to its earlier productive state. Your post excluded the fact that K2 was being worked over, replicating K3, an important omission on your part so I thought to include for clarity.

It doesn't surprise me at all that this is there tactic as I had stated earlier that they would work-over the pilot wells to bring them into a more 'development' state to produce gas. Utilise these wells that they have volumes of data on to be the preliminary wells producing for the demonstration facility. I doubt they'll go drill another set of 5 wells, go through all the measures to get them into production, when they can more effectively do that with the K1-4/5. No doubt the next phase would be another set of wells, in a shielded pattern, and in the next generation to maximise production and begin selling gas to the East Coast and South Aus.
