If you look at my earlier posts I keep a small part of my portfolio aside for some high risk plays, that was Atlas. I agree Atlas has been very high risk for quite a few years now. I quarantine most of my profit from this for lower risk plays (this will include international managed funds, and some boring ASX200 stocks) and reinvest original stake. Atlas is a great lottery stock, very liquid, low price so small movement is big percentage and it moves well on rumour and announcements (up and down). In my opinion stocks such as this should be a small part of a much more diversified portfolio. However the last few months have been fun. I am keen to see how this ends, seems to be with a whimper rather than a bang.
