@ac_AgenCy.... They reckon that if a parent does their job properly, then the parent must teach their kids to the degree that they themselves become obselete. I’d reckon that between Chris and Geoff, that the portfolio managers have hopefully made them both obselete. As Geoff says, he no longer ha s to pick stocks as he so much confidence in his portfolio managers, that he just invests in the WAM fund trading at a discount to NTA. Don’t forget though, that timing can have a lot to do with a successful investment as much as stock picking. I sold half my WMI at $1.51 because I thought they had run too far, too fast. What I am looking for in the WAM funds is good steady growth, sometimes slowly, sometimes quicker, but with an overall upward trajectory.
