I invest in Au stocks because I think the price will rise over the medium term so I'd prefer to see less hedging from RMS.
That said, RMS position is very typical of the peer group. RRL's is the worst, 438koz hedged at $1592, worth minus $180M at $2000 Au. RMS hedging position today is worth -$40M, in line with most mid tiers.
