It is interesting to note that in not only real terms but actual $ that a lot of our groceries are cheaper today than 10 years ago. Meat is not one of those but a couple to think about.
Doritos/CC's 10 years ago $2.60 for a 200g bag. Today, normal supermarket sell price $2.48 but most times on special for under $2.00.
Coke is the same, as is Weetbix, Uncle Tobys muesli bars etc.
