Respectfully Verily, as far as those four Directors are concerned, I think you are allowing pathos (emotional appeal) to over-ride logos (logic) .
Perhaps I am wrong but isn't citing their experience as too valuable to lose is an example of pathos, whilst lLooking at their 10+ year track record of non-delivery would be an example of logos?
I believe the other 2 directors (Riley and Scott) have plenty of good experience. Together with a new MD, they would be able to bring a fresh and honest perspective.
Allowing Mccaul, Mckay, Swaby and Pieters to continue in their roles, after more than 10 years and expecting a different outcome would be a version of insanity!
