at least some of the bad news is out and factored into the share price but it will be interesting to see these rent figures. This just out now..

"0004 GMT - Investors will zero in on rent collection to July at Vicinity Centres's FY 2020 result on Aug. 19, Morgan Stanley says. That's because the mall owner traditionally relies on Victoria for 40% of its revenue and the state is battling a big virus outbreak. For investors, at least two negative triggers are out of the way. Vicinity last week said the valuation of its property portfolio fell 11.3% in the June half, and it earlier raised more than A$1.2 billion of equity to ease concerns around its balance sheet. "Whilst the concerns are well known, we also struggle to see what positive news Vicinity can disclose on the day," with FY 2021 guidance unlikely, MS says. ([email protected]; @dwinningWSJ)"
