sigh....peejay2 you just ignored everything I explained to you and refuted none of it...
I do remember the dumb election thing where none of the people debating it understood franking and tax.
people get a refund because they have a low tax rate.
the government doesn't give you money back out of the goodness of their hearts....or out of the "budget".
the tax withheld were never theirs. if your tax rate is higher you get less back.... just like any other income stream where you have tax withheld at the source.
