Totally agree. It is a stab in the dark type postulation. The end point to me is some big defence contracts but they are being cloaked in secrecy which is natural. It seems to me with the rising threat of China which the Morrison government has made very publicly they are involved with doing things behind the scenes with the US and I would think trusted allies in a regional cooperation with the US in a leadership role again.
The nature of warfare is changing with drones taking over in remote areas ,sophisticated weapons with big payloads with pin point accuracy and hence the importance of HTG technology....Lets see what evolves.
