I have a theory : hear me out. it might be a long post.

How does Hot copper stay relevant, make money , keep the forums going; increase the number of accounts/posts etc.?

now imagine a scenario; a stock like GRV, long term holders ( some new ones), pretty happy with the way things are going, few posts everyday saying " this is good," Alpha making some $$, soon makes sense", " can't wait for results from Georgina", " have you seen what's going on with our neighbours in the east/west"  etc. etc.
increasing SP on great fundamentals, not a lot of contrarian views ( sure every now and then peeps might think , growing too quick too fast) but underlying fundamentals are there . I'm sure there are heaps of other stock similar to us or not well known in the early stages of their journeys. ANWAY


then we have people like @bas10 , who come and throw random lines like " market cap too big" , " SP doesn't make sense" "blah blah why GRV is a sh@t company to invest in"
then long term holders like you and I , go , stuff that, I will defend my investment, research, intuition etc, and start this back and forth while bas10 keeps on goading people for some more posts/more likes etc. I wonder if this has turned into social media where all that matters is more posts/likes.

My view as long as you have done your research/ happy with ur investments / know (sort of) what your doing than don't engage with people like him/her/it.

or you can ignore what I just said and carry one cuz ive had a few drams of Macallan courtesy of GRV
