Pay me 70 cents with 30 cents franking credit.
Not a big question.
Unless, you buy into franking credits being magical beans capable of defeating tax.
As for the retirees - dollar in the hand with no tax payable. Or 70 cents with the 30 cents fully refundable franking credits.
Same...Same.
Franking credits aren't magic. Never have been.
