I think it's a very smart move to undertake the survey before any further drilling - who knows what 3D targets it could uncover. With a bit of luck they can find the source of the veinlets. They will get there eventually, it could be within the next few holes or 2 years down the track.
I'm more curious on the additional spend on hole 27. Wont be cheap going this deep and then assaying cores that long. I spoke with CM about that yesterday. Gave absolutely nothing away, however I have mentioned the frugal factor a number of times now - I just cant see them spending a large amount of money going down this deep without being confident. It's a wildcat, who knows they could get lucky out there. I thought it was a duster a few days ago and now there could be something out there.
