Headline on Reuters: “Lithium miner Allkem said on Thursday its fourth-quarter revenue fell”. Who could possibly think that was a reasonable summary of the report? They had to work to find that angle, to decide that it was reasonable to describe a 1% decline on previous corresponding period as a fall, and ignore the 18% rise from the previous quarter. Was this part of a general attempt to find negative angles to drive clicks, or specifically targeting Allkem?
