As you can see by the share price performance this morning in relation to the quarterly result.... the reporting of production/shipping numbers is a waste of time for a resource stock.
Professional investors know what resource stocks / FMG has shipped (almost) in real time. Bloomberg has an entire part of its terminal dedicated to the tracking of ships and the recording of port dockets, from that, professional investors already have significant insight into what FMG has shipped and to where.
The only surprises that come for quarterlies these days is cost information and other left field sentences/updates.
