Evening Joel, very much appreciate the spread sheet calcs (sooo many quarterlies to go through, and... I am guessing you end up re-reading them because I always miss a few key sentences!)
Cannot deny seeing +$200m for WGX in a year is something many would not have believed possible (and most likely still won't believe), even if perhaps 1/2 of it gets swallowed up by Great Fingall & Big Bell expansions.

I am obviously hopeful that WGX starts to see some exploration upside outside of its current mines, as... new discoveries are usually.... more profitable.
As for Big Bell, as I understand it, they will be two very separate operations, so neither affect each other.

Fair enough about FY24, other posters have spoken to WB and guidance will be out this week.

Great point about the plants, but.... from what I can tell, the buggers last an awful long time! Just look at WGX neighbor.....
RMS Mt Magnet plant, just had it's 34th birthday! (took me a while to find this!), though I do love a bit of history.
I think the amount of maintenance done on plants these days keeps them... functional for a long time. I cannot really think of a plant being turned off because it was just too old (but... there a few on HC who have more decades to ponder this).
btw - Fortnum plant was recently upgraded, so... I am guessing the age of the plant is a bit of a mute point.




As for WB and him taking a bow, he would likely appreciate the compliment.
WB is a tiny bit lucky... to be at the ass end of Big Bells capex heavy birth. Now he and new shareholders can benefit from all the pre-production put into it.
Finally, the inclusion of that table says more than what's just in the table, it shows... accountability.
Nice to have though.
