Buybacks are unnecessary when one considers the number of shares on issue. It is time now to reward long term shareholders with a dividend. Personally I would, if it was possible,prefer a significant capital return and payable only to shareholders who held the previous day. For too long now our SP has been controlled by pip takers who have been ubiquitous by their actions. Whatever form a return to shareholders takes i don’t really care just bring it on BOD and very soon.
