Research done.
Per the Herald Sun 11.09.14 (Aaron Thomas Settles Claims With His Mining Company) Aaron was the company's largest shareholder and as CEO was on a circa $1m p.a. salary.
The case was withdrawn, allegations retracted and Aaron settled with the others directors to be paid for his 25% stake (sold to other dirs) and receive a settlement payment.
In my view the settlement must have been on good terms for Aaron as his lawyer was permitted post settlement to state that the promising company was destroyed by pernicious infighting and wasteful litigation. If I were the company I would have included a non disparage and non disclosure in the settlement if there were any leverage left.
