I agree your thinking.
Dated back a couple of years ago, NST was very conservative after the merge. They sell the small to medium sized gold assets to Evolution etc. The reason is afraid of over expanding and they don't have time to look after them economically in their returns.
Last week or so, they start acquiring old assets they think will benefit them. This is a very good sign as they have $ in their pockets.
I hope on 19/07/23 NST management will give us some idea of their performance.
