Dont get me wrong I think CQE is a buy and I don't own ARF because of the massive premium.
But I'm a patient value buyer that's made most of my net worth backing highly contrarian investments that more often than not eventually get taken over.
Fact is ARF still has the currency to do M&A accretively (EPS and NTA).
CQE no longer has that. Its now a highly unpopular contrarian idea and likely ends up getting resolved through Charter Hall selling the fund and management rights to another party.
Am hopeful that's to ARF at a smallish discount to NTA for scrip. Then can move on to the next hated company/reit.
Dont get me wrong I think CQE is a buy and I don't own ARF...
