@Tinwins …No, I have only recently found him through a link and you can go to his site by registering and clicking on the link to get previous reports. I have left a comment on his latest issue. It’s certainly not positively slanted towards LICs and Wilson’s gets a special mention, not to mention Bennelong, that I invested in 3 years ago ! No wonder we seem to be migrating to managed funds. Dividends are no compensation for falling capital…. Warren Buffet would agree with that !!!. I too hold GVF and although the CG hasn’t been fantastic, it has been reliable along with the dividends. Miles is a bit of a magician, the way he keeps finding these gems and profiting from them ! Yes GVF is a buy and hold…probably forever !!!
I don’t think there’s much of a filter whether large or small, some of those mentioned are quite large eg. Certainly over $500 mill !
