When I was less experienced I would believe a lot more of the rhetoric that fund managers put out there. These days I have my own views and look for managers whose opinions marry up with my own. Occasionally I am still subject to leaping before I look but on the whole I take a much more disciplined approach. For whatever reason, Wilson seem to have struggled for a few years and I have lost faith and Geoff. My biggest Wilson holding was WLE after they took over CYA. I had over 70,000 units in two holdings but sold the lot in 2021.
