Yes, these isolated point magnetic anomalies are always worth drilling.
This was another one: Greatland/Newmont's Havieron gold deposit (7Moz and growing):
Again, similar scale to Wallaby and the isolated magnetic anomaly that LSR have at Ned's Creek, and again buried under thick cover so left undrilled for many years by the original owner Newcrest.
And the other intriguing thing about the magnetic anomaly that LSR have highlighted at Ned's Creek in their latest Quarterly is that it sits on the same, giant regional fault as Sandfire's De Grussa copper-gold deposit and several other large gold deposits a little further to the west.
A new set of eyes on an old project is often all it takes to answer the question 'Where the hell is all this gold coming from?' And there has been a lot of gold gold drilled here by Lodestar, just along the fault to the east at Contessa.
Fingers crossed, this actually could be another big one!
