Lodestar plans bolstered by strengthening gold, copper marketsLodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) is continuing to advance exploration across the Earaheedy, Coolgardie West, and Neds Creek projects in Western Australia, as the company continues to evaluate complementary opportunities.
At the Earaheedy Project, all assays have been received from sampling and are being compiled and interpreted to plan further exploration programs this quarter.
During the June quarter, Lodestar delineated 16 large base metal anomalies spread over the project area, extending more than 100km of strike length and more than 30km across strike in the main area.
Lodestar says this suite of elements includes potential pathfinders, which may be associated with various styles of mineralisation and are used as tools, along with geological and geophysical information, to improve the interpretation and delineation of new targets.
The company plans to conduct a first pass geochemical soil sampling for the remaining prospective, untested areas within Earaheedy.
At the Coolgardie West Project, drilling is planned for two gold anomalies during this quarter, through a 1,000m aircore drilling program.
Before conducting drilling, Lodestar will secure a heritage survey and a program of work approval.
