If they can get the coarse flake up to 20% of quarterly production, or better still 25%, they could keep the plant ticking over in campaign mode and burn through less cash per quarter (until fines pick up in demand). Sure they still burn through some but not as much.

they have a lot of experience at mining and running the process plant now. They have stated before when fines prices were low that was their intention to lift the overall price they get - as large flake gets much higher price than fines.

But Verner has promised us this before but not delivered - so why should we trust him this time. This guy can't be CEO for much longer - Surely!!!!!

When they announce a tier 1 buyer for the Vidalia plant (as part of the planned expansion to 45,000 tonnes) and the US$150 million loan for Balama (from American DOE) has been approved, suggest the share price will lift - back to 35 cents or even 45 cents.

If a large player wants to secure supply of graphite, could be a very cheap option to take a 10% equity stake in Syrah, and maybe invest some hard cash in the Vidalia expansion plan. I'm pretty sure Aus. super would like to sell down their current 30% stake - only issue is the price they sell some for.
