I think the point is that when a major producer signals that it wants to dump more product into China at a time when supply is outstripping demand, it doesn’t really matter how good the quarterly is, because prices are likely to at best remain flat for the next quarter or possibly move even lower.
Zero incentive for China to pay more for its spod without some much change in demand.
