Crazy, the quarterly dropped, with big positive numbers and we somehow finish in the red! Aussie goldies are really the devil play at the moment! Record gold prices continue, and even with the market wide issues, the gold price only drops 1%. Very safe sector to be in due to all the economic and geopolitical issues. Yet somehow every broker and institution target it! Makes no sense! When the good times are here, the big players barely touch it and some in here celebrate a 0.4% green day. Thats what it has come to! When the bad days hit, they deliberately target it! If we did not have this positive quarterly, we would have been deep in the red like our peers, continuing the SP decline in record gold conditions. There is definitely an attack on gold stocks and nobody can deny that now.
Look at the gold sector today, EVN down around 3%, RSG down around 6%, RRL down around 10%, RED down around 5%, DEG down around 2%. Crazy times, gold barely 1% down and the sector sells like this... It is not like it is profit taking either, because the charts are flat! There are other more sinister reasons imo.
NST should have 5-10% gains on the back of reports like this. We should be a $30 stock minimum in these generational gold boom conditions.
