I also agree, the amount of clamouring I see for dividends on mining companies while a company has growth plans, projects and debt boggles the mind.
If capital is to be returned, one thing I am personally a big fan of (Praise NST) is a buy back. As long as it is done tactically by the board when prices are cheap and not a blanket purchase each quarter regardless of the stock price I think is the best way to return capital back to shareholders.
I wish more miners did this, with again emphasis on a 'well managed' buyback.
