I think that your "spooked" comment is on the money.
When I try to do a quick comparison with previous quarter and previous year (not using anything accurate like a spreadsheet) , it seems to me that the extra electricity prices, the extra output from Eraring, and with the much higher local gas prices in the last quarter (particularly during the long "wind-drought, and the cold early winter) that the profit will be quite a bit better (remembering that Kraken will have increasing contribution too, and retail is reducing costs and providing customers with more options, and probably getting some benefits from reduced churn).
I am not counting my chickens yet, but am definitely not a short-term of long-term seller.
