so KCN took the compromise solution and hedged 1/4 of production at a fixed price of AUD 1435 - so that takes care of some of the "fixed costs" and leaves exposure to potential upside or loosing a bit more..........
The impairment charge of 320 mill has been known about for some time
We will see more of those across the sector (NCM of course taking the cake with 6 bill plus)
