Today is a day to sit back and let the dust settle. This current quarter for GWR will be very strong regardless of what the Platts average ends up being for August. This month we will get 2-3 ships out based on last month’s average which was well above US$200. Top up if you believe the story, this shakeout will be temporary, and IMO IO will consolidate around US$180. And everyone is making good money at these prices. Only fear is shaking the IO price, the fundamentals still haven’t changed regardless of how much scaremongering the Chinese keep going along with.
