Some good points. I would like to see MMI build some stockpiles to assist with the resumption of shipping in March-April. Stocks would need to be in the order of 200,000-250,000 tonnes. Stockpiles drain water rather than increasing moisture %. This really needs to be done over the next 2 quarters with some potential to continue Dec-Jan. Requires some additional investment, minor capital works and some minor add ons to additional handling costs. There are too many issues with trying to mine and ship over the main period of the wet season, even in drier years. Then there is not the pressure to resume mining too early and with the high moisture.
