The author contradicts himself with the head line then ends with Chevron was outbid by Pertamina after they lodged for a extension. Their req imo was not rejected by the govt. If Pertamina think they can do what Chevron have been doing for all those years successfully, good luck to them. This is typical Indonesia politics which is sitting on the fence!
