I’ll be gobsmacked if the UK gov contribute further. The Labour gov continues to tow the responsible spending line from pre-election. The chances of them adding to the few million they’ve already spent is slim IMO. The EU only wants to talk a big game, or try and Tariff their way to success. The ball is firmly in LCM and Ford’s court at this point in time. If they don’t come through with some funding/favourable loan terms then I’m afraid we could be heading for a similar fate to a certain large vessel launched from Belfast docks last century.
