There are many possible deals that were announced that weren't necessarily in the best long term interests of the business. That's always a balancing act - trying to respond to the anguished cries of shareholders for revenue /profit in the short term and yet creating long term viability. So maybe we will learn patience an hold in mind that Rome was not built in a day, nor was Apple, or most other behemoths.
I think what we might be seeing is a clean up and review. Personally I don't want to see a licensing deal unless it is clearly advantageous in both the short term and the long term, and clearly as beneficial to us as it is to the licensee. On which note while there is an opportunity for a full scale review with the change of guard I'd like to hear more about what the pros and cons are of having ICL and that other chemical company in the kitchen.
