The announcement does state that extra funding is not requires at this time. It sounds as though you miss out on the funding if you do not apply early so the company is doing the right thing for it's shareholders. Not sure what happens if you don't use up your alloaction when others explorers could have used it.
You got your wish about another discovery although the grades didn't fill me with great excitment and by the share price movement today the market wasn't excited either. Hopefully the infill programmes that will commence shortly firm up some decent deposits.
