Now on the topic of Mn ore prices, Eramet has ramped up production of the Moanda mine 13% to 3.1 MT [H1-2021]. Total SA production increased with 28% [H1-2021]. Tshipi increased production with 30% [HY2022 report].
This basically keeps the inventories at Chinese ports flat and the Mn ore price depressed.
Will be curious to hear what the new board has to say about sustained depressed manganese prices in relation to the increased by 28% SA production according to Eramet's H1-2021 report (July 29th, 2021)
