According to my calculations the annual dividend of 1.0c is 52% of current annual earnings per share of 1.92c.
Historically it was higher as forecast in the IPO prospectus.
Note that BHP has reduced to 53% and RIO 55% due to the uncertainty around the world caused by the U.S. whose leader suffers from delusions of grandeur.
