Couldn't disagree more, they should be expediting metwork on standout holes to confirm whether its ionic or somewhat amenable for AMSUL wash. VMM released their results on a headline hole within a month of getting ANTSO on the case (proving it's ionic). MEI already had a good idea the ionic nature of the deposit from the preliminary work the Japanese did on the deposit. So they could afford to wait and do a more comprehensive analysis over 41 holes.
Aus REE players should always develop deposits in reverse, do initial metwork tests, then drill aggressively. There is no point torching shareholders money on an aggressive drilling campaign and then getting the metwork later saying theres zero chance of economic extraction. Especially since no mainland clay hosted REE deposits have found to be appreciably ionic to date.
