My last post stated that tomorrow 12th June would mark the deadline for the exercising of any pre-emptive and tag-along rights which is only partially correct. On closer inspection 30 calendar days (12th June) applies to the pre-emptive right by Samancor Holdings but it is 30 business days for Blue Falcon which I think would be Monday 23rd June. These pre-emptive and tag-along rights are substantial in the context of Exxaro's transaction so you'd expect they would have to advise the market of the outcome. I suspect they would like to update the market on both at the same time so I'm still expecting news on this front soon.
