HI All Consolidation does not mean a change in JV partner, but rather Exxaro buying this and other assets in their entirety. Things to be aware of that suggests very strongly that JMS will be gobbled up 1. Size of Exxaro - they would want the whole thing to make a meaningful strategic shift. Its a 3b dollar compahy 2. The fact they have taken out private holders first 3. the commentary of both MDs about further strategic value realization when they topic of JMS been taken over is raised 4. the price they have paid thus far shows serious strategic intent to move into manganese
I am not sure the first deal has to close for another deal to me made. Infact I think the opposite as this move would also put JMS in play
The more difficult part has been negotiated, JMS being listed with Exxaro as the main shareholder makes part 2 much easier
