If I've read this correctly it's saying that Wesfarmers will be on the share register for at least 5 years ! That is incredible. There's a 12 month escrow after each year in a 4-year earn out period. These guys needed a cornerstone investor and now they've got it. Well done. I suspect the price isn't discounted per se it would have been a 10 or 15 or 20 day VWAP calculation surely ?
As with their Sativa acquisition this seems as if they've managed to bring over the senior leadership team from Decipher so that's a plus.
DYOR but to my mind this is another piece in the ESG jigsaw and the fact that they've got proven software with clients means it's not too speculative. Every day in the AFR or Australian last week there was a story on how the corporate world is embracing ESG more than ever before. I think K2F is in the right spot for growth in 2021.
